Job Description

Prepares and administers radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Operates the nuclear imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of any part of the body for review and interpretation by a radiologist/cardiologist. Maintains mandatory records established by the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA). The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required. Up to $15,000 sign on bonus available for full time positions! $5,000 sign on bonus for candidates with a minimum of 1 year radiology experience and/or part time positions $15,000 sign on bonus for candidates hired into a full time position with a minimum of 1 year Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience Want to learn more about our Radiology Imaging practice?

Graduate of an accredited program for nuclear medicine. Additional Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. One(1)year nuclear radiology experience (including clinical experience) preferred. Knowledge and technical competence with nuclear equipment and procedures required. Training in radiation safety, operation of equipment, preparation, handling, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals required. Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service required. Ability to improvise standard procedures required. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to maximize operational efficiency required. Detail oriented, strong organizational skills required; experience with computers preferred. Familiarization with ECG monitoring and ability to identify/detect abnormal ECG readings required. Experience with computers preferred. License or Certification NMTCB or ARRT(N) and Arizona CNMT required prior to start date. Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date. Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Competency. NCT and/or PET preferred.
