Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a dynamic assignment specializing in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging equipment and contribute to high-quality patient care across two California locations.
Schedule:
Monday-Wednesday:
10-hour shifts in
Santa Cruz, CA Saturday:
10-hour shift in
Fairfield, CA Off Days:
Thursday, Friday, and Sunday Qualifications:
Valid NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification Current state of California nuclear medicine technologist license (required) Demonstrated expertise in nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex imaging protocols Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple facility environments
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging Operate PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging equipment with precision and safety Ensure accurate imaging and proper patient positioning for highest diagnostic quality Monitor patients throughout procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring safety Maintain accurate records according to regulatory guidelines and facility policies Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to review imaging results and support patient diagnosis
