Qualifications & Experience:

Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Current certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB. Active and unrestricted state licensure for nuclear medicine technology. Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures. Strong skills in patient positioning, safety practices, and equipment calibration. Effective communication and the ability to provide patient-centered care. Ability to work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Duties:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and safety protocols. Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards. Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA. Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other staff members. Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks. Educate patients and families regarding the imaging process and expected outcomes.
