8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a busy imaging department in Bakersfield, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong nuclear medicine experience and be committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment Monitor patients during procedures and ensure comfort and safety Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental protocols Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (CA NMTL) Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required Active California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging protocols Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Education Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program Benefits Competitive weekly pay Housing stipend or assistance Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Supportive and responsive staffing team Why Bakersfield, CA?
