Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, applying your specialized imaging expertise to deliver exceptional patient care. This contract opportunity offers a unique schedule, allowing you to work across top-tier facilities with supportive, collaborative teams.
Schedule:
Mondays at Sutter Tracy - 10-hour shifts Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at Mercy Merced - 10-hour shifts each day This position begins as soon as possible and is an 8-week contract with the potential to extend, offering consistency and the opportunity to gain experience across multiple sites.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and protocols Ability to adapt to multiple facility settings Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills Experience with current imaging equipment and radiation safety practices
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient and staff safety Accurately document patient histories and imaging results in accordance with facility protocols Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals Maintain equipment and adhere to quality control standards Ensure compassionate, patient-focused care throughout each procedure Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere where your expertise and attention to detail play a crucial role in patient diagnosis and treatment.
