Qualifications BLS Certification Full Job Description Role and Responsibilities:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs advanced nuclear medicine procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment, utilizing radionuclides. They are responsible for data processing, image production, and operating technical equipment, ensuring accurate results for interpretation by licensed practitioners. The role requires exercising professional judgment, maintaining ethical standards, and providing patient-centered care.
Qualifications and Skills:
Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technologist training program Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by recognized certifying boards or California certification Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association 6 months of recent experience or at least 2 years of full-time experience with minimal absence
Preferred Skills:
One year of nuclear medicine experience (not mandatory for recent graduates)
