Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic imaging role utilizing your expertise as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, supporting patient care across advanced Nuc Med and PET/CT procedures. This 13-week contract offers a unique schedule and the opportunity to work in well-equipped clinical environments.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday -
Wednesday:
10-hour shifts
Saturday:
10-hour shift (approximate 1 hour and 45-minute commute)
Off Days:
Thursday, Friday, and Sunday Qualifications:
Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTCB or ARRT) Active California State License required Proficiency in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging techniques Strong understanding of radiopharmaceutical preparation and safety protocols Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
Operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic Nuc Med and PET/CT procedures according to physician orders and established protocols Administer radiopharmaceuticals as required while maintaining patient safety Accurately document and maintain patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality outcomes Educate patients on exam procedures and address any questions or concerns Assist with daily room and equipment preparation and sanitation
