Location:
Based in Indio, CA, this position places you in the heart of a vibrant desert community known for its warm climate, scenic views, and outdoor recreational activities. Indio offers a blend of cultural events, shopping, and dining experiences, all set within the beautiful Coachella Valley.
Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with accuracy and adherence to safety standards. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols. Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Educate patients about procedures and address any concerns to ensure comfort.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or equivalent. Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging and technology. Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment. Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.
Job Type and Duration:
Travel assignment, 13 weeks.
