Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career in imaging by supporting patient care as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract opportunity provides a structured schedule and engagement with advanced imaging modalities, including Nuc Med and PET/CT. Schedule:
Monday -
Wednesday:
10-hour shifts in
Santa Cruz Saturday:
10-hour shift in
Fairfield Off Days:
Thursday, Friday, Sunday Assignment duration: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program Active NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification Valid California State License required Proficient in operating Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT equipment Knowledgeable in radiation safety, patient care practices, and quality assurance Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety standards Perform high-quality imaging studies (Nuc Med, PET/CT) as ordered by physicians Assess patient needs, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout exams Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to coordinate and deliver accurate diagnostic services Maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory guidelines, and participate in quality assurance activities Adhere to infection control practices and maintain equipment This role offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your nuclear medicine expertise in multiple patient care settings, with dedicated time off to maintain work-life balance.
