Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is now open for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team on a contract assignment. This dynamic role requires proficiency in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and offers a supportive environment where your expertise will make a difference in patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Mondays at Sutter Tracy — 10-hour shift Tuesdays through Thursdays at Mercy Merced — 10-hour shifts
What You'll Bring:
Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N) Demonstrated competency in nuclear medicine procedures and equipment Ability to accurately follow protocols and ensure high-quality diagnostic images Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work efficiently across different sites, as scheduled
Role Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies safely and efficiently Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with regulations and best practices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to achieve diagnostic goals Ensure patient safety and comfort, explaining procedures and offering reassurance throughout the process Maintain detailed, accurate records and comply with all privacy and safety standards
