Overview:
Perform a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Work with fellow staff technologists, supervisor and medical director to maximize patient throughput in a trauma one medial center teaching environment.
Qualifications:
Age of Patients Served:
All Age Groups Required Education:
Associate's degree; Graduate of an approved nuclear medicine training program.
Necessary Skills:
1. Have the mathematical skills to properly calculate doses and apply routine nuclear medicine formulas as needed. 2. Work with fellow technologist and professional staff to maximize patient workload.
Required Licensure/Certifications:
  • Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and/or registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(N ,
  • Licensed by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist,
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR)
Required Experience:
Less than one year
  • Graduate from an approved nuclear medicine program.
Preferred Experience:
One to two years experience preferred.
