HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
•Offerring a $15,000 sign on bonus•Cardiac studies ONLY (MPI / nuclear stress). No general nuclear imaging. Mon-Fri, 8a-5p. Either 4x10s or 5x8s. No on-call, no nights, no weekends. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals in an outpatient clinical setting. This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality images, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent patient-centered care. Patient Care & Preparation Greet and identify patients using proper protocols; verify physician orders. Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to patients to ensure understanding and comfort. Obtain relevant patient history and assess contraindications to radiopharmaceuticals. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while prioritizing comfort and safety. Imaging & Procedures Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety standards. Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment (gamma cameras, SPECT, and/or PET systems). Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures such as bone scans, cardiac scans, thyroid imaging, and PET/CT studies. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions if necessary. Ensure image quality and completeness for accurate interpretation by physicians. Radiation Safety & Compliance Follow established radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self. Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials. Monitor radiation exposure levels and maintain appropriate records. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations (e.g., NRC, state health departments). Equipment & Quality Control Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control checks on imaging equipment. Identify equipment issues and coordinate service or repairs as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces. Documentation & Collaboration Accurately document procedures, patient data, and radiopharmaceutical dosages in EMR systems. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain required competencies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Qualifications Education Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field (required). Licensure & Certification Current certification by ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB (required). State licensure as required. Current BLS/CPR certification (required). Experience 1-2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred (outpatient experience a plus). Experience with PET/CT and/or cardiac imaging preferred.
