Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist Tavares, FL (Also an Ocala option) | Full-Time | 3x12 Schedule Looking to specialize in cardiac imaging while enjoying a true work-life balance? A nationally recognized outpatient cardiovascular imaging practice is seeking a Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its growing team in Tavares, FL. This opportunity is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists who enjoy cardiac imaging and want to work with advanced PET/CT technology in a collaborative outpatient environment—without call, nights, or holidays. What You'll Do Perform cardiac PET/CT and SPECT stress imaging procedures Administer radiopharmaceuticals orally and intravenously in accordance with physician orders and safety standards Operate advanced Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies Maintain radiation safety standards and ALARA compliance Collaborate closely with Cardiologists and an experienced clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures Why This Opportunity Stands Out Three 12-hour shifts each week (Full-Time) No call responsibilities No nights No holidays Specialized outpatient cardiovascular imaging environment Work with advanced cardiac PET/CT technology focused on early detection of coronary artery disease Collaborative team culture with long-term career growth Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, PTO, and professional development Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program Current CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification Minimum of 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience Cardiac Nuclear Medicine and/or PET experience is highly preferred If you're looking for an opportunity to step into a highly specialized cardiac imaging environment while enjoying predictable scheduling and outstanding work-life balance, we'd love to connect. $36.00 - $46.00 per hour
