Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic imaging department setting where your expertise in Nuclear Medicine is highly valued. This contract opportunity focuses on providing outstanding care and precise diagnostic imaging in a collaborative clinical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM On call Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 PM No weekend rotation Holiday coverage only if a holiday coincides with your shift
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Proficient in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures Experience with modern imaging equipment and safety protocols Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality diagnostic images Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interactions Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members
Core Responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines Operate imaging equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety at all times Monitor patients throughout procedures, maintaining a supportive and reassuring environment Accurately track records, complete documentation, and uphold confidential patient information standards Manage occasional on-call and call-back requirements as scheduled
