Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging as an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential diagnostic services through advanced nuclear medicine imaging.
Schedule:
Day shifts, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts) 13-week assignment
Required Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT N), or in Radiography (ARRT R) with nuclear medicine credentials Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven experience in a clinical setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Strong understanding of safety protocols and radiation safety standards Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and non-imaging studies, under physician direction Prepare, calculate, and administer appropriate radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes according to established protocols Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring patient comfort and optimal image quality Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and adhere to regulatory requirements Monitor equipment functionality, report malfunctions, and assist with routine maintenance Educate patients and families about procedures, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care If you have a passion for precision in medical imaging and meet the outlined requirements, this contract position presents an excellent platform to expand your experience.
