Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed to deliver exceptional imaging services within a healthcare environment. This contract role requires expertise in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while demonstrating professionalism and compassion in every interaction.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM On call/call back: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 PM No weekend rotation Holiday coverage required if the holiday falls on a scheduled shift
Qualifications:
Certification and registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-NM or NMTCB) Demonstrated skill and experience in performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures Proficiency with imaging equipment and handling radiopharmaceuticals Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures Conduct nuclear medicine studies as ordered by physicians following established protocols Monitor patient condition and ensure safety during imaging procedures Document all aspects of the imaging process accurately in patient records Adhere to compliance and quality assurance standards Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
