Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a dynamic imaging department focused on high-quality patient diagnostic services. This contract role is based in Cedartown, GA and offers a structured weekday schedule with on-call responsibilities. Ideal candidates demonstrate technical expertise in nuclear medicine, efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to patient care. Schedule/Hours Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM On call: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday until 6:00 PM Weekend rotation: None Holiday coverage required if shift falls on a holiday Qualifications & Desired Experience Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N required) Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, with solid nuclear imaging skills Proficiency in imaging protocols and safe radiation practices Ability to perform on-call duties and respond to call-back requests as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented, with ability to follow precise diagnostic instructions Current BLS certification Key Responsibilities Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders Administer radioactive pharmaceuticals safely and track inventories Explain exam procedures to patients to ensure comfort and compliance Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance Document patient information and procedure details with accuracy Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow team members for optimal patient outcomes Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols Adapt to holiday coverage if scheduled shift overlaps with holidays Benefits & Perks Opportunity to gain experience in a high-demand diagnostic specialty Supportive environment with the potential for professional growth Manager-driven final interview process for direct feedback on your skills and fit If you are ready to bring your nuclear medicine expertise to a dedicated imaging team, we invite you to submit your application today!
