Job Description

Category Imaging•Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract This specialized position calls for a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in advanced imaging to join a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers consistent weekday hours and the potential for ongoing professional growth while working alongside a multidisciplinary care team.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday•Friday, 7:30 am•4:00 pm On-call coverage: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 pm No weekend rotation Holiday coverage required only if the holiday falls during your scheduled shift
Qualifications:
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification required (CNMT or ARRT-N) State licensure (if applicable) Prior hands-on experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging setting Proficiency with nuclear medicine imaging protocols, quality control, and safe radiopharmaceutical handling Familiarity with EMR and imaging archiving systems Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Operate nuclear medicine equipment to perform diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures according to physician orders Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely Adhere to rigorous safety and infection control guidelines throughout imaging processes Accurately document findings, maintain patient records, and ensure timely communication with radiologists and referring clinicians Support patients by explaining procedures and addressing concerns compassionately Participate in occasional on-call shifts as outlined by the department manager
