Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a vital role as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, specializing in Imaging - Nuclear Medicine. Collaborate with a supportive healthcare team while advancing your professional skills in a dynamic environment. This contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and valuable work-life balance, with minimal on-call and holiday requirements.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM On call/call back required Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00 PM No regular weekend shifts Holiday coverage required only if a holiday falls during your scheduled shift No floating requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with active and current credentials Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques for nuclear medicine procedures Strong understanding of radiation safety and compliance standards Prior experience in a fast-paced clinical or hospital setting preferred Exceptional attention to detail, patient safety, and compassionate care delivery Effective communication skills to collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment Accurately prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals Monitor patients' conditions during scans, ensuring safety and comfort at all times Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring all protocols are followed Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret and report results Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled Be part of a team that values your expertise and dedication.
