1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital position requiring 2+ years of experience, Cerner proficiency, and an active Indiana license. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting in a Nuclear Medicine department Adult and geriatric patient population Day shift, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Cerner EMR required May float to affiliate hospitals based on facility need Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience required Community hospital experience required Active Indiana or Compact RN license required in hand prior to consideration; pending state licensure is not accepted — license required if applicable Current BLS, CNMT or NMTCB certification required Cerner EMR experience required SSN and DOB required for consideration 2 supervisor references required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are eligible for this position Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break Royal blue scrubs required
