Nuclear Medical Technician Krucial Rapid Response - 4.3 Topeka, KS Job Details Full-time | Contract $2,452 - $2,846 a week 16 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Diagnostic radiology Driver's License Staff training Epic Associate's degree Full Job Description Mobile Nuclear Medicine Technologist Contract Assignment | Full-Time | Day Shift Kansas Outreach Region | Mobile Imaging Unit Competitive Weekly Pay | 13-Week Contract We are seeking an experienced Mobile Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic outreach team delivering mobile nuclear cardiology services throughout the region. This unique opportunity is ideal for a technologist who enjoys autonomy, travel, patient interaction, and problem-solving in a mobile healthcare environment. The technologist will travel to outreach locations alongside a dedicated CDL driver while performing nuclear stress testing procedures on a mobile imaging unit. The role averages approximately 5 patients per day and includes post-processing and reporting responsibilities upon return to the heart center. Schedule Monday-Thursday Up to 10-hour shifts Typical start time: 6:00 AM 5:00 AM start every other Monday Fridays optional if needed to reach 40 hours Maximum 40 hours/week No call No weekends No holidays Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures in a mobile environment Conduct daily quality control on imaging equipment and dose calibrators Perform IV starts and administer radiopharmaceuticals using proper injection techniques Process and review diagnostic images for quality assurance Complete documentation and reporting in Lumedx (PACS) and Epic Maintain radiation safety standards and ALARA practices Troubleshoot equipment, technical, or vehicle-related issues while on the road Maintain compliance with infection control and departmental safety policies Collaborate effectively with drivers, providers, and outreach staff Support training and onboarding of new employees as needed Additional Duties Prepare and administer I-131 thyroid therapies Monitor calibration data and quality assurance measures Order and manage radioactive materials and department supplies Assist with patient transport and positioning when necessary Equipment Siemens Ecam camera Transitioning to CardioMD system in the near future Required Qualifications ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification — required at time of submission Kansas Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) Current AHA BLS certification Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record Ability to travel to outreach locations No pending licenses or certifications accepted Clean license history required (no exceptions) Preferred Qualifications Associate degree preferred Class B CDL preferred Ability to obtain Class B CDL within 6 months preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as needed Comfortable working in both hospital and mobile imaging environments Why Join This Assignment?
