Schedule/Hours:
Travel position with variable scheduling to accommodate patient care needs
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Experience with imaging protocols and operation of nuclear medicine equipment Ability to ensure patient safety, accurately prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals Strong interpersonal and educational skills to support patient and family understanding Commitment to maintaining department and regulatory standards
Core Responsibilities:
Arrange patients for NM examinations and conduct imaging to aid diagnosis Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure through vigilant safety practices Calibrate, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol Educate patients and families before and after procedures Operate all equipment following departmental policy and best practices Act as a resource and preceptor for colleagues when required Report directly to department leadership and participate in quality assurance
