  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our medical imaging team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, physiology, and the operation of advanced imaging equipment within a hospital or clinical setting. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. Responsibilities Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring proper aseptic technique. Operate nuclear medicine equipment such as gamma cameras, DEXA scans, and other diagnostic imaging devices. Perform a variety of imaging procedures. Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols and maintaining proper infection control procedures. Assist physicians with image acquisition, processing, and interpretation to support accurate diagnosis. Maintain detailed records of procedures performed using electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Eclinical Monitor patient condition during procedures and provide appropriate patient care before, during, and after imaging. Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance. Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and participate in ongoing professional development. Requirements Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through ARRT or equivalent certification body. Proven experience with medical imaging modalities Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic technique. Strong IV placement skills. Familiarity with hospital EMR systems such as Eclinical or similar platforms. Experience working in a out patient clinic preferred. Knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols for nuclear medicine procedures. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and educate patients about procedures. Ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety guidelines.
