This position offers the opportunity to perform a wide variety of advanced nuclear medicine procedures using state-of-the-art imaging technology while working alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. Candidates with strong independent scanning skills and experience in high-volume hospital settings are encouraged to apply. First-time travelers with exceptional experience may be considered. Key Responsibilities Perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine procedures for adult and geriatric patients. Conduct Nuclear Stress Tests, HIDA Scans, VQ Scans, Biliary Studies, Lymph Injections, and Amyloid Studies. Perform SPECT imaging, Bone Scans, Thyroid Studies, Gastric Emptying, MUGA, DEXA, Renal Flow, and Liver Imaging. Prepare, administer, and safely handle radiopharmaceuticals while following radiation safety standards. Operate GE Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment and maintain high-quality diagnostic imaging. Start and maintain IV access as needed for nuclear medicine procedures. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care. Float within the imaging department and affiliated facilities as required. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience (strong 1-year candidates may be considered). ARRT (N) or ARRT (R) required. NMTCB Certification required. State License required. AHA BLS Certification required. Experience performing Nuclear Cardiology and advanced Nuclear Medicine procedures. Strong independent scanning skills with minimal orientation required. Epic experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous hospital or teaching hospital experience. Experience with GE Nuclear Medicine equipment. Knowledge of SPECT imaging, Nuclear Cardiology, and advanced diagnostic procedures. Schedule Details Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM 40 hours per week Every other weekend on-call (Saturday or Sunday) Weekday on-call twice weekly (4:00 PM-10:00 PM) Holiday coverage required as scheduled Black scrubs required !
