Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide critical imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients while working alongside a knowledgeable and collaborative team.
Schedule:
Contract role (duration discussed during the hiring process)
Key Qualifications:
Certification:
ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB required
State License:
IL state radiology license (pending applications accepted if in progress)
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a nuclear medicine tech or imaging role
Trauma Skills:
Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting BLS certification (current and valid) Strong technical proficiency with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and procedures Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging Operate nuclear imaging equipment safely and efficiently, producing high-quality images for interpretation Ensure all imaging activities comply with regulatory and safety standards Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with healthcare guidelines Facilitate a patient-centered approach to care, providing clear explanations and compassionate support throughout imaging procedures If you are ready to make a meaningful impact with your expertise in nuclear medicine imaging, this position offers a professionally rewarding environment where your skills are highly valued.
