Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist, where your clinical expertise will directly impact patient outcomes. This contract position focuses on cutting-edge imaging and specialized diagnostic procedures in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Qualifications:
Current certification from ARRT or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine Technology IL state radiology license (pending applications in progress also considered) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in nuclear medicine imaging Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork mentality
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging studies and procedures with technical precision and patient safety in mind Adhere to established protocols, radiation safety, and infection control measures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans Ensure accurate documentation, image processing, and timely reporting of results Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to regulatory standards Provide compassionate guidance and information to patients regarding procedures
