Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in Nuclear Medicine to a dynamic healthcare environment where quality imaging meets patient-centered care. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist who thrives in fast-paced settings and values collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Desired Background:
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB required Active or pending IL state radiology license Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Nuclear Medicine Current BLS certification Proven ability to perform in a Level 1 Trauma setting, with strong decision-making and prioritization skills
Key Responsibilities:
Operate nuclear medicine equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in compliance with established protocols Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and comfort throughout exams Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care Accurately document findings, maintain patient records, and ensure proper handling of confidential information Provide educational support and reassurance to patients regarding procedures and expected outcomes Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control standards in all aspects of imaging
