Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career specializing in imaging as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic care utilizing advanced nuclear medicine techniques. Collaborate with an experienced clinical team in a state-of-the-art medical environment, providing critical support to physicians and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Operate SPECT, PET, and hybrid scanners to produce clear, precise medical images. Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver timely reports and images. Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards. Perform quality control checks on equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed. Accurately document patient histories, imaging processes, and test results in electronic health records. Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any emergent situations. Educate patients and families about procedures and safety precautions.
Qualifications:
Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N credentialing preferred). Registered or eligible as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Demonstrated experience performing both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies. Proficiency working with modern imaging equipment and digital health records. Strong understanding of radiation safety and OSHA guidelines. Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule/Hours:
