Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to independently manage the Nuclear Medicine (NM) department within a healthcare facility in Belmont, NH. The role requires a confident professional who can perform essential Nuclear Medicine procedures and quality controls with minimal supervision, ensuring smooth department operations.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ability to work independently in the NM department Proficiency in Monthly Quality Control (QC) and Leak Tests Experience attending Quarterly Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) meetings Familiarity with NM studies including Stress Tests and General Nuclear Medicine procedures Knowledge of CT imaging preferred but not mandatory Comfortable working with Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard hot lab equipmentResponsibilities:
Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures autonomously, managing a low volume of NM studies (approximately 3-4 Stress Tests and 1-2 General studies weekly) Conduct Monthly QC and Leak Tests and maintain compliance by attending RSO meetings Collaborate as needed but primarily function as the lead technologist within the NM department Work efficiently during scheduled hours without on-call requirementsSchedule:
Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM 36-hour workweek with 4 nine-hour days and Friday offLocation Insight:
