Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced technologist with expertise in Imaging - Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Medicine Technology for a contract assignment. This role involves operating as a Nuclear Med/PET CT Tech, focused on providing exceptional patient care and precise imaging studies across a mobile route. The assignment is for 13 weeks with an ASAP start.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts per week Mobile route with travel to multiple locations
Key Qualifications:
Certification with NMTCB or ARRT(N) AND one of the following: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) (Requires a Nuclear Medicine certification AND a radiology credential) Current state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology for NJ Demonstrated experience performing Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, and CT imaging procedures Strong grasp of radiation safety standards and best practices Ability to work efficiently in a mobile setting across various sites
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, and CT exams in accordance with physician orders and applicable protocols Travel to designated locations as part of the mobile imaging team Ensure patient comfort, proper positioning, and safety throughout imaging procedures Verify documentation, complete records, and maintain compliance with licensing and regulatory guidelines Collaborate effectively with medical staff and support seamless coordination of patient care across locations This role provides the opportunity to work independently while delivering critical diagnostic imaging services to several communities.
