Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Make a vital impact in patient care as a Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist on a 13-week assignment, starting as soon as possible. This specialized role provides the opportunity to utilize your expertise in imaging across multiple locations, offering variety and real experience on a mobile route spanning four days per week with 10-hour shifts. Work closely with fellow professionals while serving facilities in Newark, Jersey City, Rahway, and Elizabeth.
Schedule:
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts Mobile route covering multiple locations
Qualifications:
Active NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification and ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) certification (NucMed and Radiology certifications required) Valid New Jersey state licenses in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Proven experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and/or PET/CT Technician Advanced knowledge of imaging equipment, patient safety, and radiation protection standards Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work autonomously across various sites
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and related imaging procedures for a diverse patient population Safely operate imaging equipment and administer radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols Accurately capture and document images, maintaining meticulous record-keeping and compliance with all regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize diagnostic outcomes Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed during travel to different locations Deliver compassionate care and clear explanations to patients undergoing diagnostic studies Gain valuable experience and engage in meaningful work while developing your clinical skills in a dynamic, supportive environment.
