Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A dynamic imaging opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET technology, and radiography. This role supports patient care through expert imaging across multiple locations, utilizing both stationary and mobile equipment. The contract position begins ASAP and spans 13 weeks.
Schedule:
4 days per week 10-hour shifts Mobile routes servicing
Newark, Jersey City, Rahway, and Elizabeth City Required Qualifications:
Certification from NMTCB or ARRT(N) Additional certification in ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) NJ state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Experience in PET/CT and nuclear imaging techniques Strong ability to adapt to multiple site locations and function independently Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols Safely transport, prepare, and operate imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostics Review imaging orders and patient histories, ensuring appropriateness of procedures Maintain rigorous documentation and adhere to compliance standards Support a patient-centered experience by explaining procedures and addressing concerns Collaborate effectively with referring physicians and fellow imaging professionals Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or technical issues promptly Participate in quality assurance initiatives as required This position allows you to work closely with a variety of patients, contribute to their care journey, and sharpen your skills across different clinical settings.
