Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare imaging career by providing critical diagnostic services across multiple New Jersey sites. This 13-week opportunity is ideal for an experienced Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist seeking a dynamic, mobile assignment with exposure to diverse patient cases.
Schedule:
Mobile route covering Newark, Jersey City, Rahway, and Elizabeth City, NJ Four 10-hour shifts per week
Qualifications:
Valid certification from NMTCB or ARRT(N) Additional certification required in radiology: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) Current New Jersey state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Proficiency in diagnostic imaging, including Nuclear Medicine and CT/PET technologies Proven ability to work independently across multiple clinical environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Responsibilities:
Operate PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians Ensure high standards of imaging quality and accurate recordkeeping Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely while following all regulatory and safety protocols Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and promptly report any technical issues Adhere to all HIPAA and facility guidelines concerning patient privacy and data security Support mobile clinical operations by collaborating with team members and ensuring each location is equipped for daily service You will play a vital role in guiding patients through their imaging procedures and contributing to essential medical diagnoses while taking on the unique challenge of a mobile care unit.
