Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Utilize your expertise in Imaging as a Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, or Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a dedicated medical imaging team, providing essential diagnostic services and direct patient care using state-of-the-art technology.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N) required Experience operating CT/PET scanners and performing nuclear medicine procedures Strong understanding of imaging protocols and radiation safety standards Proficient with patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance processes Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient interaction Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with radiologists and support staff Previous experience in a clinical or hospital-based setting
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine and CT/PET imaging procedures as ordered by physicians Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols Monitor patient condition and provide clear instructions throughout imaging examinations Operate imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality results while maintaining patient comfort and safety Review images for clarity and accuracy before submitting for physician interpretation Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, doses, and patient data in accordance with regulatory requirements Adhere to patient confidentiality standards and all departmental policies This position provides an engaging work environment where your imaging skills contribute to critical patient care decisions.
