Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into an essential role performing advanced PET/CT procedures focused on patient safety and quality care. As an Imaging professional specializing in Nuclear Medicine, you will work collaboratively within a multi-site healthcare team utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. The assignment is structured over a 13-week period, supporting different sites and providing critical diagnostic services to the communities served.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Four 10-hour shifts each week
Qualifications:
Current certification as CNMT or ARRT(N) Additional certification: NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) Active NYS license for Nuclear Medicine and CT Valid BLS for Healthcare Providers Demonstrated proficiency with GE Discovery IQ or similar PET/CT systems Minimum of 36 hours worked/payed weekly Commitment to a minimum of 8 weeks, standard contract is 13 weeks Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine studies following established protocols with a strong focus on quality and patient safety Operate the GE Discovery IQ, ensuring accuracy of imaging and maintenance of equipment Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety standards Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care Accurately document all imaging procedures and patient information Maintain adherence to all credentialing and regulatory requirements
