Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care and support diagnostic imaging as a skilled professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Medicine Technology. This contract position provides the opportunity to work alongside other healthcare professionals, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to generate high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or equivalent) Demonstrated experience operating PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment Knowledge of radiation safety, protocols, and patient positioning Proficiency with imaging procedures, quality assurance, and documentation Current BLS certification preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction Ability to adapt within a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging studies Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine scans ensuring diagnostic image quality Monitor patient well-being and ensure comfort throughout the procedure Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other care team members to optimize imaging outcomes Maintain accurate patient and procedure records following HIPAA and facility protocols Conduct equipment checks and regular quality control procedures Adhere strictly to radiation safety policies and infection control standards
