Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your specialized expertise in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging. This 13-week contract role calls for a highly-skilled technologist proficient with a GE Discovery IQ system. You'll be working four 10-hour day shifts each week, scheduled Tuesday through Friday, providing critical diagnostic services in a collaborative setting.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week Tuesday through Friday, day shift
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating GE Discovery IQ equipment Dual certification required: NMTCB or ARRT(N)
AND ARRT
(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) Active New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Solid background in CT/PET and Nuclear Med Tech modalities Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols Effective communication skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Perform both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures with accuracy and patient safety as a priority Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with state and federal guidelines Operate GE Discovery IQ imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records Regularly calibrate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer standards Take the next step in your career by leveraging your dual certifications and technical know-how in a supportive, forward-looking setting.
