Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled imaging professional to provide essential Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services at a leading healthcare facility. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and centers on delivering top-quality diagnostic procedures in a collaborative medical environment.
Schedule and Work Hours:
13-week contract Four 10-hour shifts per week
Shifts:
Tuesday through Friday, daytime schedule
Qualifications:
Experience operating GE Discovery IQ equipment required Dual certification required: must hold both NMTCB or ARRT(N) AND one of the following—ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) Current New York state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology essential Previous experience as a Nuclear Med/PET CT Tech highly valued Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including PET scans and nuclear medicine studies, using GE Discovery IQ equipment Prepare, administer, and document radioactive tracers in accordance with best practices and safety protocols Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate, timely test results Maintain clean, safe, and compliant imaging environments Educate patients on procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing questions or concerns Accurately document and report scan findings in patient records
