Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Advance your healthcare career in a specialized role focused on diagnostic imaging! This opportunity calls for a highly skilled professional experienced in nuclear medicine, CT/PET scanning, and advanced imaging technology. In this contract position, you will play a vital part in providing accurate, quality imaging services to support clinical decision-making and patient care. Qualifications and Experience Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-NM) Successful completion of an accredited program in nuclear medicine technology Practical experience with nuclear medicine, CT, and PET imaging modalities Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and current best practices Strong attention to detail for performing and interpreting complex diagnostic studies Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with physicians and care teams Ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare setting and remain calm under pressure Key Responsibilities Perform a full range of nuclear medicine, CT, and PET procedures according to established protocols Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as needed Operate imaging equipment and ensure regular calibration and maintenance Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to deliver precise diagnostic results Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures; provide clear explanations to patients and families Document and maintain accurate imaging records within hospital information systems Uphold all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards This contract role offers you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge imaging technology in a progressive environment.
