Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Embark on an engaging assignment as a PET/CT Technologist, bringing your expertise in Nuclear Medicine and Imaging to dynamic clinical environments. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience with advanced equipment and the chance to collaborate with skilled professionals in an enriching setting.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Four 10-hour shifts per week What You'll Need to
Succeed:
Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) certification Valid New York State license for Nuclear Medicine and CT Active BLS for Healthcare Providers Demonstrated experience operating the GE Discovery IQ system Adaptability and willingness to work across multiple hospital sites Strong communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality PET/CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Operate and maintain the GE Discovery IQ scanner, ensuring optimal performance and accurate results Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to deliver exceptional patient care Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements for imaging, radiation, and patient confidentiality Provide clear instructions and support to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures Document clinical information, maintain accurate records, and contribute to overall workflow efficiency
Assignment Details:
13-week contract with a minimum of 36 hours per week required Work across several hospital sites Experience the satisfaction of supporting patient diagnosis and care at top-tier facilities.
