Job Description
Performs all nuclear medicine procedures, demonstrates anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning, technique selection, administration of radiopharmaceuticals, and application of immobilization and radiation protection devices according to policy and procedure. When not performing duties related to NM, the technologist will be utilized in other applicable duties as assigned by the Manager.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
- Satisfactory completion of a NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine technology program or Radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
- Current certification with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible
- Radiologic license for Nuclear Medicine with Ohio Department of Health
