Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting patient diagnostics as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position requires expertise in advanced imaging procedures and a commitment to high-quality patient care. As an integral member of the imaging team, you'll use cutting-edge technology and your proven skills to assist in diagnosing and monitoring a variety of conditions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification or registry in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NM or NMTCB) Previous hands-on experience in a hospital or clinical imaging department Proficiency with imaging equipment relevant to nuclear medicine Strong communication and patient interaction skills Demonstrated ability to follow strict safety protocols with radiopharmaceuticals Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic purposes Perform nuclear medicine procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all acquired images Collect and document patient histories, symptoms, and relevant data for each procedure Maintain equipment and ensure the imaging area adheres to all safety and cleanliness standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise and informed patient care Accurately document and report all procedures in line with regulatory and facility requirements Working as a contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll have the opportunity to gain diverse experience, work alongside skilled professionals, and meaningfully contribute to patient diagnosis and care.
