Qualifications:
Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N). Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment and administering radiopharmaceuticals. Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols. Experience performing diagnostic nuclear medicine exams. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Attention to detail and precise documentation skills. Compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for imaging or treatment. Operate imaging equipment and acquire high-quality diagnostic images. Assess and monitor patient condition throughout procedures. Accurately document patient history, procedures, and imaging results. Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to interpret study results and ensure coordinated care. Maintain equipment and track inventory of supplies. Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines for patients and staff. Provide patient education regarding procedures and follow-up care.
