Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role in medical imaging, utilizing your expertise as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver quality patient care and advanced diagnostics. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced healthcare settings and are committed to maintaining the highest standards in imaging services.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Demonstrated experience in nuclear medicine imaging, including PET, SPECT, and conventional nuclear medicine studies Proficiency with imaging equipment, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and safety protocols Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and clinical teams Ability to work independently and efficiently manage caseloads Valid BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Operate nuclear medicine imaging devices to acquire high-quality diagnostic images Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in strict adherence to safety guidelines Accurately document and report imaging results to physicians and appropriate staff Monitor patient well-being throughout procedures, offering clear explanations and support Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes Maintain rigorous adherence to all regulatory and organizational protocols related to safety, hygiene, and privacy
