Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a contract opportunity. This vital role focuses on providing high-quality diagnostic imaging through a range of nuclear medicine procedures. You'll be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing advanced technology to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Experience with a variety of imaging equipment and protocols in nuclear medicine Ability to perform and analyze imaging studies with precision and accuracy Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare teams Thorough knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory guidelines Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nuclear medicine imaging studies as ordered by physicians Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, followed by monitoring patient reactions Capture, process, and evaluate images ensuring the highest diagnostic quality Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure adherence to documentation standards Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements for handling radiological materials Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
Schedule:
6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts) This contract position offers exposure to advanced imaging technology and a collaborative clinical environment.
