Job Description

Category Imaging - Nuclear Medicine Job Type Contract Experienced professionals in Nuclear Medicine Imaging are needed for a contract opportunity focused on providing advanced diagnostic services. This position emphasizes the use of state-of-the-art technology and compassionate patient care to support critical medical decisions.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts 6.75 shifts per biweekly pay period
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT(N)) required Valid state license as required by regulatory standards Proven experience performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, safety practices, and compliance guidelines Competency in the operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine and imaging equipment Excellent communication and patient care skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging according to physician orders Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality scans for physician interpretation Assess patient conditions and provide clear instructions to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and imaging documentation Adhere to safety protocols in handling radioactive materials and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
