Administer anesthetics to pients by inhalion, regional, intravenous, local, or topical means. Determine the approprie anesthetic agent and method of administering the agent. Monitor pients' fluid loss. Supervise and monitor the quality of anesthesia care administered by the student nurse anesthetists. Assist in the implemention of the Anesthesia Performance Improvement Program. A gradue or higher level degree from an accredited professional nursing educional program in Nurse Anesthetist is required. Foreign Degree:

Gradues of foreign nursing schools must have completed the Commission on Gradues of Foreign Nursing Schools Certificion Program. The certificion program consists of a credentials evaluion, the CGFNS Qualifying Exam, and evidence of passing one of the approved English Language Proficiency examinions. A copy of the CGFNS Certifice is required.

Licensure:

A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registrion as a professional nurse from a Ste, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United Stes; and you must have passed the Nional Council Licensure Examinion.

Licensure:

A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registrion as a professional nurse in the specialty of Nurse Anesthetist or reled specialty from a Ste, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United Stes.

Exemption:

You are exempt from the basic requirements above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0610 occupional series and have been continuously employed in this occupional series since September 27, 2017 or before.
