This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work on-site, providing critical care and support within our healthcare team. As a PAs & AP Nursing, CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to implement care plans and assist in procedures. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of medical practice in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $320 to $340, reflecting our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care and pain management services to patients Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations Assist in the development of individualized anesthesia plans Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures and risks Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Stay updated on current practices and advancements in anesthesia Requirements
  • Coverage Dates
  • : Immediate start, pending credentialing; initial commitment of 6 months with anticipated openings for the following year.
  • Setting
  • : Medical Center environment.
  • Shifts/Schedule
  • : Flexible scheduling available from Monday to Sunday with options for 8 or 10-hour shifts. There is a demand for 12-hour shifts in OB and weekend coverage.
  • Call Requirements
  • : No call duties expected.
  • Operating Rooms
  • : Daily operations in 8-9 main ORs, 5-6 Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), and 2 Eye Centers, plus 2 Electrophysiology (EP) Labs.
  • Anesthesia Model
  • : Care team model where CRNAs have the autonomy to manage their own cases, promoting significant independence in practice.
  • Case Types
  • : Diverse caseload including general surgery, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), ophthalmological procedures (cataracts), pediatrics, outpatient cases, endoscopy, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, oncology, orthopedics, and mandatory obstetric anesthesia.
Experience with spinals/epidurals is advantageous but not mandatory. The client will provide one week of orientation and proctoring to ensure candidates are comfortable operating independently.
