POSITION SUMMARY

​ The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist completes preoperative patient assessments and prepares and maintains necessary tools and resources for procedures. Responsible for evaluation of anesthetic agents used for patients before, during, and after procedures. Actively observe and assess patients throughout the course of procedures and ensures safe patient emergence from anesthetic. Performs supplemental anesthesia duties in situations as needed and directed by anesthesiologist.

JOB SPECIFICS

Saint Mary Medical Center has 5 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms Will provide service at St. Luke Medical Center and Holy Family Medical Center Both have 2 operating rooms Will be supervised by anesthesiologist in Galesburg Approximately 20-30 cases in Galesburg a day Schedule options: 24-hour shift and 2 8-hour shifts, 4 10-hour shifts, 5 8-hour shifts

1 year experience as a staff nurse
