Job Description

Description This contract position offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with patients while contributing to high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative medical practice environment. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, utilizing your expertise to implement best practices in anesthetic care. This position not only allows you to showcase your skills but also places you in a supportive atmosphere that values teamwork and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and safety protocols Assist in maintaining a sterile operating environment Provide pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia care Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures Document all anesthesia care per legal and regulatory requirements Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technology Requirements Associate degree in Nursing, with a focus on Nurse Anesthesia Current CRNA certification and active state licensure Demonstrated clinical experience in an anesthesiology setting Strong knowledge of anesthesia delivery methods and patient safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor colleagues
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7a-3p
Potential Beeper Call:
Weekdays (3p-7a) or weekends (7a-7p) 5 ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, and 1 urology suite
Case Types:
Bread and butter, general surgery, urology, ENT, OB, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pediatric dental Will practice independently
EMR:
Meditech Must be board-certified Paid travel and expenses
